Manel Gil-Inglada es un reconocido y multipremiado compositor de bandas sonoras con más de 50 reconocimientos internacionales entre nominaciones y premios sólo en los últimos 12 años. Con más de 35 años de experiencia en el sector audiovisual al margen de otros tantos más como intérprete, cursó sus estudios en el “Aula de Música Moderna y Jazz de Barcelona” escuela reconocida y homologada por la prestigiosa «Berklee College of Music de Boston», especializándose en Film Scoring en diferentes seminarios y cursos de la mano de José Nieto, Armando Trovaioli así como con Ennio Morricone en la “Accademia Musicale Chigiana – Siena”.
Autor de numerosas sintonías de televisión, entre otras: Teledeporte, Barrio Sésamo, Deportes.es, Informativo, Saber y Ganar, Los lunnis, Escarabajo Verde, Para todos la2, etc. Series como: «10+2», “Koki” “Vitaminix”, “Goomer”, ““Kuda-Yana”, “Bendito Machine”, “Edebits”, ”Hullabaloo”, etc. Branding Musical para Volkswagen, Seat, Daewoo, El Caserío, Juver, Kids & Us, Levis, Nike, etc. Documentales para Médicos sin fronteras, TVE, Deshabitados de Hugo Atman, El Elogio del Horizonte de Eduado Chillida, la Antológica de Joan Miró, etc. Audiovisuales y grandes eventos como «La Sorpresa de los Dioses» espectáculo multimedia del parque temático Terra Mítica, «Museo Olímpico de Lausanne» Banda sonora para el audiovisual: » The Magic of the Games», «Pabellón de España de la Expo universal de Lisboa 1998» Banda sonora de todos los audiovisuales de la exposición, «Museo reserva natural de Urdaibai» Banda sonora de la exposición, etc. Cortometrajes como: “Get Stuffed” de Àlex Villagrasa & Shankara Films, «El vuelo del Pingüino” de Alicia Teba 2012, “La Muerte Dormida” de David Casasdemunt. Profesor y colaborador en diferentes Másters sobre todo relacionados con la aplicación de las bandas sonoras en el mundo de la animación como el “Máster Internacional de Animación Audiovisual de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona”, el “Máster de Animación del Laboratorio de Imagen Visual de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Barcelona LIVE-UPC” , en la “Semana de la Animación en Barreira, Escuela de Arte y Diseño” o recientemente en FIMUCS, el Primer Festival Internacional de Música de Cine de Sevilla entre otras. En 1990 fue cofundador de la productora musical Quadrophenia y del estudio Vadeaudio en el 2008. Actualmente está inmerso en solitario en la composición cinematográfica, orquestal y los videojuegos como el reciente “Endling – Extinction is Forever” en cuya banda sonora participa la gran Tina Guo así como Rusanda Panfili, ambas colaboradoras habituales de Hans Zimmer. Una Banda Sonora que está recibiendo numerosas y excelentes críticas.
